BMW F10 M5 DCT

This clean looking family sedan has quite the hardware list and was looking for a proper ECU calibration. Although his prior tuner set him up with a safe tune, it left quite a bit on the table. On our @dynojetresearch 424x, we were able to strategically add quite a bit more power/torque.

With the car having stock engine internals, but an upgraded clutch, we still wanted to keep torque close to 700wtq. After some data analysis, we improved on boost/torque control, to achieve a smooth powerband. We kept boost levels at a conservative 1.5bar to assure stable fuel management. With some fuel system upgrades, we could easily target more top end power while keeping connecting rods straight.

Check out the huge gains in the dyno graph. At 5000rpm, adding roughly 100whp/wtq! No fuel pressure drops. No timing pull. No throttle closures.
